A month after i said 'yes', off you went. But i guess it was something we are used to even before we got together. But that was entirely different as compared to the 'distance' we had to face now as we are together. It was hard. It was really hard at first because i didn't get the chance to have you by my side a bit longer. But this thing that we went through taught me a lot of things. To me, it's not about you making me at ease at the fact that you had to go for awhile. It's about me making you feel at home at a place you weren't familiar with. It's not you that has to calm me down if i am unhappy but it is me that wants to make sure you're okay with your new surrounding. And when you're going through one of those days that you feel homesick or just not in the mood, i shouldn't question the silence on the phone as i know there are so many things going through your head. You miss home. You miss your family. You miss your bed. You miss your lamb. You miss the guys.
I prayed before you left that you'd meet friends that would have the same aim and to finish your studies together. I prayed that you would be comfortable with whoever and wherever you may be. I pray that you would be strong to go through a year far from your family and friends. And i also prayed that God would strengthen our relationship through this challenge we are facing.
